A structured learning institute created to deepen the understanding of Garbha Sanskar and prepare individuals to practise and teach it with knowledge, sensitivity, and responsibility.

The Indian Institute of Garbha Sanskar brings together traditional Indian wisdom, decades of medical experience, and a deeper understanding of preconception, pregnancy, emotional wellbeing, epigenetics, relationships, and early human development.
Together, these areas create a more complete understanding of how a new life is prepared, nurtured, and welcomed.
IIG was created to honor the timeless wisdom of Garbha Sanskar and carry it forward with relevance, responsibility, and heart—so more lives can be touched, supported, and uplifted.
To retain the deeper wisdom of Garbha Sanskar while presenting it in a way that is relevant and understandable today.
To prepare people who can work with mothers, couples, babies, and families with knowledge, sensitivity, and care.
To help Garbha Sanskar reach more families, healthcare spaces, communities, and future generations through people who understand it deeply.
Every family deserves to understand the environment in which a new life begins and is shaped.
Garbha Sanskar offers a much wider understanding of how new life is prepared for, conceived, nurtured, and welcomed.
Over time, this knowledge has often been reduced to rituals or isolated pregnancy practices.
IIG was created to bring its many dimensions into a structured field of study so it can be understood deeply, practised responsibly, and carried forward with integrity.

Before conception, the future child begins receiving impressions through the parents' emotional state, relationship, family environment, and overall lifestyle. This phase is about preparing the inner foundation before pregnancy begins.

The baby's body begins forming and the foundation of all major organs is laid. According to the Garbha Sanskar framework, this marks the transition from preparation to embodiment, making it one of the most sensitive phases of development.

As the baby's awareness grows, emotional, intellectual, sensory, and spiritual impressions become increasingly important. The mother's thoughts, emotions, and environment play a deeper role during this phase.

The baby undergoes rapid growth while preparing physically and emotionally for birth. This phase focuses on strengthening the baby's readiness for life outside the womb while supporting the mother's preparation for childbirth.

Birth is the beginning of the baby's adaptation to the outside world. Nourishment, bonding, touch, emotional safety, and responsive caregiving continue shaping the child's development during this phase.
Nurturing the body, mind, and spirit at every step of early life.

Meet Dr. Monika Singh ‘Shubhaa’
Dr. Monika Singh ‘Shubhaa’ is an obstetrician, sonologist, educator, founder of Birth The New Earth, and the visionary behind the Indian Institute of Garbha Sanskar.
Across more than 28 years of medical practice, she has worked closely with women, couples, mothers, babies, and families through conception, pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
“Garbha Sanskar must be understood beyond isolated rituals. It requires knowledge, sensitivity, and responsibility so it can support families with depth and integrity.”
Years of practice helped Dr. Monika recognise that the beginning of human life cannot be understood through medical care alone.
The emotional wellbeing of the parents, their relationship, inherited family patterns, subconscious impressions, and the environment surrounding pregnancy are also important parts of how a new life is prepared for and welcomed.
IIG brings this accumulated experience into a structured field of professional learning, so Garbha Sanskar can be studied with greater depth, clarity, responsibility, and integrity.

The Indian Institute of Garbha Sanskar has grown from the years of work carried out through BTNE under the guidance of Dr. Monika Singh “Shubhaa”.
Through its work in preconception, pregnancy, emotional wellbeing, conscious parenting and early human development, BTNE has supported families in understanding how life is influenced from its earliest stages.
IIG takes this experience forward through structured professional education.
